The Department of Civil Engineering has been one of the finest departments of the college. It has been involved in making professional Civil engineers. The vision of this department is to shape infrastructure development with societal focus. The department of Civil Engineering offers a program in Civil Engineering at B.tech level .The Department has its own labs which are equipped with well-maintained machines and instruments.
Civil engineering is a major field of engineering that deals with planning, construction, and maintenance of fixed structures, or public works, as they are related to earth, water, or civilization and their processes. Mostly civil engineering today deals with power plants, bridges, roads, railways, structures, water supply, irrigation, the natural environment, sewer, flood control, earthquake resistant structures, transportation and traffic. In essence, civil engineering may be regarded as the profession that makes the world a more agreeable place to live.

ELIGIBILITY
- Candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam from Madhya Pradesh
Secondary board or any other board. - Candidates belonging to the general category must have scored at least 45% marks in
their 10+2. - Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category will have to score at least 40%
marks in their 10+2. - Candidates must have Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects in their 10+2.

SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is applicable to the students belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category. The scholarship is administered by the Government of Madhya Pradesh based on annual income of the family. Students with family income below ₹ 3,00,000/- are eligible to apply.
