Course Structure

Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering plays an important role in the
educational system of the institute. The department is an inseparable part of a vibrant and
sparkling academic environment which guides and gives the faculty members whole hearted
support to lead engineering students through their academic journey. State- of – art facilities
exist for carrying out research in electronic engineering and allied fields.
Electronics & Communication is the most popular branch of Engineering since 1980.
Developments in communication technology have increased its applications in allied fields of
electronics including computers and Industrial Control.
Curriculum related topics are presented on weekly basis by the students of EC. The forum
also provides them the opportunity to improve technical and literary writing skills. In
addition, frequent quizzes are conducted, workshops are held, latest technologies, awareness
of subject related topics are highlighted.
Electronics and Communication Engineering Course gives enormous job opportunities in
electronics and software companies. Wireless Communication, Optical fiber, Satellite &
Microwave Communication are some applications of this field. An engineering graduate in
EC deals with design, Production and Quality Control Applications. It also gives great
opportunity in research and development, as everyday consumer needs new devices to
support him in daily life.

ELIGIBILITY

• Candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam from Madhya Pradesh
  Secondary board or any other board.
• Candidates belonging to the general category must have scored at least 45% marks in
  their 10+2.
• Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category will have to score at least 40%
  marks in their 10+2.
• Candidates must have Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects in their 10+2.

SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is applicable to the students belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category. The scholarship is administered by the Government of Madhya Pradesh based on annual income of the family. Students with family income below ₹ 3,00,000/- are eligible to apply.

• Declaration by family and student(Format available in college)
• Candidates must have Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects in their 10+2.
